Our Approach
The SensoBaby approach aims to make it easy for you and your family to understand and grasp the different components of what children need to learn and grow.
Each animal represents an core part of child developement and takes parents and children on a wild ride full of adventure, exploration and play. We want you to enjoy the journey and give yourself and your child the best possible start in life.
Like a mama lion caring for her cubs, children thrive when they have opportunities to bond and feel secure. Through playful roaring, breathing, and vocal exercises, little ones develop breath control, support for speech, and self-regulation, helping them calm their bodies and express themselves confidently. Our classes, for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years, provide meaningful ways for parents and family members to connect, nurture emotional development, and support wellbeing from the very start. As Sensobaby is a part of the global massage network, Blossom and Berry, we also incorporate massage and other bonding activities that enhance development. We understand that parents can’t always be present during the week, which is why we offer workshops and guidance to uplift and empower carers, ensuring every child receives the support they need.
Like an elephant stomping and jumping with purpose, children develop core stability, balance, and motor planning through large, active movements. These playful activities also support attention, coordination, and posture, helping little ones navigate their day with confidence. From birth to five years, the brain is forming countless new connections, laying the foundation for lifelong learning. Just like elephants, children remember their early experiences, and with responsive routines and guided support, we help them grow strong, capable, and ready to explore the world.
Like a tall giraffe reaching up high, children develop body awareness, flexibility, and a sense of space through gentle stretching and reaching activities. As they grow, so do their thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall awareness — and it’s a joy to watch them master new skills so quickly. By using carefully designed developmental play, we create activities that are both fun and stimulating, supporting children’s learning while meeting their individual needs. Our approach draws on well-researched Early Childhood Development methods to ensure every child thrives.
Just like a playful monkey swinging from branch to branch, children build important strength and coordination when they use their arms and upper bodies. These movements strengthen the shoulders and arms, preparing little ones for skills like handwriting later on. From the very beginning, movement is key to both physical and cognitive development. Activities that challenge balance and body awareness — from tummy time to dance parties — can be exciting, calming, and everything in between. By encouraging a variety of playful movements, we help children grow strong, confident, and ready to learn.
Like a speedy cheetah, children love to run, jump, and move their bodies with energy. Fast, active play helps them build endurance, coordination, and a healthy heart, while also teaching self-regulation as they learn to control their speed and impulses. Through fun, energetic movement, children strengthen both their bodies and minds, developing confidence, focus, and the skills to navigate their world with joy.
Like a crocodile crawling across the floor, children develop strength, coordination, and confidence through cross-lateral movement. Crawling helps build core stability and connects both sides of the brain, supporting motor planning and laying the groundwork for future reading and writing skills. Through playful floor activities, children learn to move with purpose while having fun, growing both physically and cognitively in a safe and engaging way.
Like the striking stripes of a zebra, patterns are everywhere in children’s play and learning. Through playful pattern games, little ones strengthen memory, sequencing, and visual-motor skills, laying the foundation for early math readiness. By recognizing and repeating patterns, children build confidence, curiosity, and important problem-solving skills — all while having fun and exploring the world around them.
Like a playful parrot, children love to explore and imitate sounds. From copying simple noises to joining in songs and rhymes, these activities strengthen listening, language, and early reading skills. Pathways for communication and language begin even before birth, and responding to your baby’s cues helps them navigate their world with confidence. Singing, storytelling, and playful sound games are not only fun, they also support your child’s language development. Join us to nurture your little one’s communication skills while having fun together.
Like a calm tortoise, children benefit from slowing down and practicing mindful movements. Gentle, focused activities help little ones regulate their emotions, develop self-awareness, and manage transitions with ease. By practicing these calming skills, children learn patience, body awareness, and how to navigate their day more confidently. Through playful, intentional movement, we support both emotional and physical growth while giving children the tools to feel secure and capable.
Building and creating together helps children develop cooperation, problem-solving, and creativity. Through team play, little ones learn patience, empathy, and social negotiation — important skills for connecting with others. Children thrive in a supportive community, and it truly takes a village to raise them safely and securely. We’re here to help you find that village, fostering friendships and connections for both parents and children while supporting their social and emotional growth.
